The National Institute of Technology Robot Contest is an annual competition organized by NHK, where students from national institutes of technology showcase technical skills and compete with self-made robots.
The competition theme for this year is 'Pluck Pluck! Fruit GO Round.'
Robot overcomes obstacles, acquires suspended ball within time limit.
The championship team this year was Osaka Kogyo Daigaku Kosen. They were able to quickly move their compact vehicle, extend its arm, and capture the most balls.
